Camlock Coupling

Camlock Coupling

Our Camlock coupling mainly are three materails:

Stainless steel 304&316, Aluminum and Brass. Below is detail instruction:

Stainless steel camlock coupling

Stainless steel camlock coupling has a wide application in food or sanitary environments & highly corrosive applications. It effectively prevents contamination of product to be transported. Our stainless steel camlocks are manufactured by SS 316 which will keep lustrous appearance even it has experienced long usage.

Stainless steel camlock fittings comes into Type A, B, C, D, E, F, DC & DP with sizes ranging from 1/2" to 8". They are manufactured according to MIL-C-27487 (A-A-59326). These couplers & adapters are interchangeable except 1/2" and 8" which have no international standards.

Stainless steel cam locks are ideal for use with salt water, water waste and many chemicals & can also be used with hydraulic oil and coolants.

Advantages:

  • Remain high strength at high temperature;
  • Harder than brass camlocks;
  • Excellent corrosive resistance;
  • Long life expectancy;
  • Wide working temperature.

Product description:

  • Body material: stainless steel 316;
  • Handles & pins: stainless steel 304;
  • Types: A, B, C, D, E, F, DC & DP;
  • Size: 1/2" to 6";
  • Working pressure: no more than 250 psi;
  • Temperature range: -150°F to +500°F (-101°C to +260°C);

Remark: All types of stainless steel camlocks are NOT for use with compressed air, gases or steam.

Aluminum camlock couplings

Aluminum camlock couplings or aluminum cam & groove couplings are an economical and durable option for quick connect/disconnect coupling for PVC suction hoses, industrial hoses and PVC layflat hoses used in agricultural irrigation, water transfer of construction and industries, and chemical & petroleum delivery. Its working temperature ranges from -150°F to +250°F (-101°C to 121°C) and working pressure doesn't surpass 250 psi at ambient temperature.

Aluminum camlock fittings come in a variety of sizes ranging from 1/2" to 8" according to MIL-C-27487/ISO A-A-59326. 1/2" through 4" and 6" parts are interchangeable, while 5" and 8" through 12" are not interchangeable for no standards are established for these specifications. Our aluminum quick connect/disconnect couplings are manufactured by gravity casting.

Your benefits:

  • Save time compared with flanged or threaded fittings;
  • No tools needed;
  • Safety sealing for fluids, powders and pellets
  • Lightweight and durable.

Aluminum Coupling Material:

  • Coupling body: aluminum;
  • Handles: brass
  • Pull rings: brass
  • Gaskets: standard gasket for metallic couplings is Buna N, and EPDM, Viton, PTFE and silicone are available.

Product description:

  • Size: 1/2" to 8";
  • Packaging: Carton or as required;
  • Thread: NPT, BSP, BST & NPSM available.
Brass camlock couplings

3.Brass camlock couplings, made of 100% virgin materials, have excellent corrosive resistance against water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline and petroleum products. Thanks to its non-sparking feature, brass camlocks can be used in some special places such as in marine fueling applications. Brass cam lock fittings come into size from 1/2" to 8". The fittings are interchangeable except 1/2" and 8", which have no international specifications. Generally speaking, the usual working temperature for brass couplings is rated from -150°F to +450°F. Always make sure the gasket material is compatible with the media.

Application: Brass camlocks are normally used in low pressure suction or discharge hoses of pump, tank, IBC and other places where quick connect/disconnect is necessary like paints & inks industry. Before installation, always make sure the material is compatible with the media.

Note: All types of brass camlocks are NOT for use with compressed air or gases.

Features:

  • Good corrosive resistance;
  • No-sparking;
  • No tools needed;
  • Durable & strong;
  • Cheaper than stainless steel.

Product description:

Working pressures for brass cam and groove coupling are measured at ambient temperature. You should refer to temperate derating factors to work out the specific pressure at a certain temperature.
